crocheting
Crocheting – a method of producing textile structures by forming loops with a hook. In the territory of Slovakia, men traditionally crocheted footwear and gloves in some regions. In rural areas, women began to practice crocheting more widely at the end of the 19th century, influenced by school education. From that period onward, crocheted lace gradually began to replace bobbin lace on household textiles and clothing, while often preserving similar colors and patterns.
