netting
(Netting / Filet) a knotting technique in which openwork textile or netting is made from a single thread. Individual loops are attached with knots to the loops of the previous row, forming a mesh with square, diamond-shaped, rectangular, or other openings. In Slovakia, netting was used to produce caps, aprons, bodices, and other garments.
